Ministering to the homeless- God has called us to not only minister to the Church; he has also called us to minister to the marginalized.  We are to visit the orphans and widows in their time of need.  We minister mainly to drug addicts all over the world, and in America, but we enjoy ministering to the homeless.  Often, homeless people have a sense of hopelessness; through our ministry, our goal is to bring the hope of Jesus Christ to them.  With Christ, they can be restored, and their lives can be transformed.  We also minister to them through practical means; we run food drives, coat/clothing drives, and we partnernership with other ministries to assist in providing temporary housing

Holy Ghost services, Revivals and Prophetic conferences- We usher in the Holy Spirit in services all over the Nation (and world).  God uses us to touch others through teaching, prayer, prophecy, annointing, and through exhortation.  The Holy Spirit is powerful, when we allow the Holy Spirit to move, when we become less, and He becomes more.   Amazing things happen when our services come under the annointing.  We also enjoy revivals; we love watching God renew and restore people through our revivals.  The Lord has appointed a time and a place for these services and revivals.  God speaks through us, so lives can be changed; sometimes, God uses others to speak the truth to encourage transformation in the lives of others.  We are merely His vessels, and we do these things for His glory.

Domestic Missions

We are evangeligical missionaries who serve overseas, but we also serve here at home.  We are very diverse in how we minister, whom we minister to, and where we minister.  We minister in churches, drug restoration programs, jails, camps, and many others.  Sledgehammer Ministries also believes in mentoring, so the mentees can become missionaries themselves.  We also believe that God has called us to partnership with others in fulfilling the Great Commission.  Pray that we continue to follow God's lead in what we do.

Military Ministries- Being a former Army Ranger, Sledgehammer can relate to the challenges that these service men and women face when enlisted.  We minister to those who are far from home, in unfamiliar territory, and those who have been on, or are preparing to go on deployment.  We want them and their families to be comforted, despite the dangers of deployment.  We also minister to veterans and wounded soldiers.  The challenges that these individuals face are unstated; we want to bring the love of Jesus Christ, along with much needed support to these hurting men and women.  Sledgehammer Ministries would like to thank all of the men and women who are serving, have served, or have given their lives.

Mentoring, training and Discipling- We, as leaders are called to "pass the baton"; we are called to equip, teach, train, and mobilize young people in the ministry.  We have allowed multiple young people to travel with Sledgehammer, so they can learn what is required in ministry.  When taking these young people, we get an opportunity to fellowship and know them, while we are mentoring them.  In addition to taking young ministers-in-training,  we have taken trouble youth and young adults traveling; we encourage them, teach them, and try to help them with their addictions.   This method of training has made a difference in numerous lives.

Prison ministries- We enjoy going to jails and prisons to bring the good news to people who have experienced brokenness.  Many prisoners have made wrong choices due to a broken home, an absentee father, and not receiving the love that they needed as children.  We want them to know that there is a Father who loves them, and that their lives do serve a purpose.  God loves them, in spite of their wrong choices.  For many, being in prison is a life-altering experience; we want to make sure that many can have a heart-altering experience as well.  We have witnessed hundreds of decisions for Christ through this particular ministry.  This photo is was taken when we were ministering at the Dale County jail in Ozark, Alabama.

Street and door-to-door Ministry- Although this is more common overseas, we do street and door-to door ministry domestically and abroad.  We have done numerous ministry events in public areas; we often see hundreds in the audience.  Many people are broken, and sometimes, a good word, an encouraging word will help brighten their day.  That alone can plant a seed; sometimes, our purpose in ministry is to merely plant seeds so others can see the fruits later.  Sometimes, the Lord prompts us to give a word of encouragement to strangers; we have even strangers who were contemplating suicide, and God used us to encourage that person, so they could understand that they did have a purpose in life.  For many, this is the most effective way for them to receive the Word of God.

School Ministry- Sledgehammer has traveled to various public schools and has shared his testimony and the love of Jesus Christ with thousands of young students.  Getting to share Jesus in public schools is much more difficult nowadays, but nonetheless, God has moved, even when satan tried to boot him out of schools.  Jesus needs to be back in our schools; too many tragedies have taken place; hopefully, we are able to do our part in bringing God back into our schools.
