HEALING AND OTHER MIRACLES- We have seen many miracles take place during our time of ministry.  We have seen many people healed from crippling diseases, and even raised from the dead!  In this photo, a 17-year old in India was killed by a jeep, but through God's grace, this boy was raised from the dead.  This miracle was documented and witnessed by all of those who were blessed enough to watch this miracle unfold.  We have seen many other miracles occur both in overseas missions and domestic ministries alike.

First and foremost, we are missionary evangelists who want to fulfill the Great Commission; we want to share the gospel, and watch lives change.  We want to win souls for the kingdom.  God has called us to serve in many different capacities overseas.  We desire to do our part to expand His Kingdome; therefore, we are heavily involved in world missions.  We travel around the world to preach the gospel; we have ministered on five different continents, and have ministered in more than 20 nations.  We have ministered directly, and indirectly to more than one million people worldwide.  We have seen God work in miraculous ways which are rarely seen here in America.  We will continue to serve God until he calls us to do otherwise.  Pray for God to open new doors for us; pray that He will have the harvest ready, so His workers can do the harvesting.

ORPHANGE MINISTRY- Sledgehammer Ministries has been involved in orphanges in India and Guyana, South America.  Many children who had nothing were given a place to stay; a bed; food, and they experienced the love of Christ.  Sledgehammer started this orphange in Indore, India.  Many children have been saved through these orphanges.  Please continue to pray for these children; pray that these orphanges can continue to save orphaned children.

DRUG RESTORATION- We have lived and worked with drug addicts.  When working at Batel Ministries, we lived with 70 drug addicts in England.  In this photo, these are recovering drug addicts performing mimes and skits to promote the gospel.  The bus was non-functional, but under Sledgehammer's leadership, the bus became a vital part of the ministry.  We have seen many lives transformed through God's work.    We work with drug addicts both domestically and abroad.

REVIVALS AND CRUSADES- Sledgehammer has conduct multiple crusades and revivals, resulting in thousands of decisions for Jesus.  Sledgehammer has presented the gospel in front of one million people or more.  In this picture, Sledgehammer is speaking to 2,000 people in Peru in 2012.   The Holy Spirit is ever-present in these crusades, and many souls are won for the Kingdom.  These crusades include exhuberant worship which is rarely experienced in America.  Sledgehammer is held in such high regard, that a parade was conducted in honor of their ministries.

World Missions

YOUTH MISSION TRIPS- We have planned, organized, and led youth trips abroad.  As a part of Camp Courage, a youth camp which we organized, youth are able to experience an overseas mission trip.  Here, youth are taken to Mexico, where they evangelize and more than 500 people gave their hearts to Christ!  We do street ministry, door to door, and distribute food, among other things.  Youth are able to gain a perspective on the living conditions that some are forced to live in, and the benefits and challenges in living a lifestyle of overseas missions.  We highly recommend all youth who are able, to take a short-term mission trip.

FOOD MINISTRY AND MEETING PRACTICAL NEEDS- Although this is common, this particular ministry is highly underrated, because many overseas often are hungry.  Sledgehammer ministries believes in evangelism, but we also believe in meeting the practical needs of the people.  When people have as little as some do, a few meals increase the morale, and lift a heavy burden, especially when there are children who are hungry.  In addition, Sledgehammer ministries have assisted in building projects for the needy, and have met needs in many other capacities.  When on the mission field, we aim to meet any needs; this is how we show the love of Christ.  Through us helping them, we can share Christ, as they are more open to hearing from those who help them in practical ways.

In addition to our work overseas, we support other missionaries both financially and prayerfully.  We believe that God will bless those who bless others, in addition to doing his work.  While we love to see the fruits of our ministry, we also love to see others flourish in the ministry, all for God's glory.  We want the love of Jesus Christ to be reflect not only in us, but in everyone whom we come in contact with.  Moreover, we mentor young believers who are eager to serve in the mission field.  We often will take young believers and allow them to travel with us, so they can gain a broader perspective on how serving the Lord requires sacrifice, and courage.  We give them hands on training, so they can prehaps one day, be able to take part in fulfilling the great commission.  While we will continue to do His work, we feel that we are called to "pass the baton".  We aim to equip and mobilize young believers into serving the Lord in their own ways.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES- Children are the most vulnerable and needy people group in the world; however, they are the most open to the Gospel.  God often uses children as vessels to bring their families into the Kingdom.  We love working with children, and seeing the smiles on their faces as we minister to them.  In addition to orphange ministries, we conduct "VBS's" and we conduct skits and other dramas to engage the children.  We also do kid-friendly activities so they can understand the Gospel.  We meet the practical needs of the children, such as providing them with school supplies, as this photo shows.  The children are our future; we need to make ensure that the children are being reached.  Let's all have child-like faith when living our daily lives, or ministering.

CREATING RELATIONSHIPS- This aspect of the ministry is very overlooked, but is a vital instrument in overseas missions.  The people want us to relate to them; create friendships, and share in their culture.  Sometimes, missionaries are only called to create friendships with a particular group of people; this is also known as "planting the seed".  Other missionaries may follow them, and see the fruits of the ministry.  However, a seed must be planted for fruit to grow. As missionaries, relating to the native people is one of the most important things for them to accept the Gospel.  Without relationships, all ministry becomes virtually fruitless.  In this picture, we lived in an apartment like the people of India; we washed and dried our clothes the same way; ate the same food, and did without other amenities.  We did this, because we needed to relate to their lifestyle.  We wanted to "live among the people" so they can see God's love through us.
